23 Jan New Year, New Work – 2017 kickoff
Hello all and happy 2017,
It’s been a while since I updated my site or posted anything. Must say I’ve been busy, to say the least. A lot has happened in the year 2016, but the most important and valuable lesson I’ve learned is to, and I quote “Keep moving forward” – Disney’s Meet the Robinsons (love that movie).
But enough rambling.
Below are the most recent works I did for a company called Carpe Omnis (www.carpeomnis.com), a relatively fresh company which specializes in creating the awesome tabletop card and board games. The artwork I did for them was for their first game called “No Honor Among Thieves” which was founded on Kickstarter, so go check it out and support the creators (because they are awesome!) 🙂
Here’s a short description of the game:
“No Honor Among Thieves is a competitive/cooperative game for three to six players in which each player assembles a crew of thieves and sets out to see who can steal the most wealth from the rich and powerful of a fantasy city. Working alone is difficult, but working together leaves you open to treachery by your so-called allies–or gives you the chance to betray them, and take it all for yourself. An unspoken code of honor exists among the thieves of this city, but that won’t last past the first betrayal, and once that uneasy trust is gone the game becomes more dangerous as players tap into abilities that they couldn’t use while the thieves’ code of honor was still intact.
Assemble your crew.
Make your plans.
Take it all.” – © CarpeOmnis @ www.carpeomnis.com
It was a real pleasure and a fantastic journey for me doing these illustrations. I learned A LOT and discovered just how much more I have to learn, which is both great and frustrating! But mainly great and exciting! 🙂 Anyhow…I hope you the reader and or the player will enjoy my contribution to the game and if you wish to see them bigger, don’t forget to check out my gallery they’ll be there…somewhere.
For now that would be all and until next time, I wish you all to have a great time creating and exploring the world because there are lots to do and see.
So don’t forget to Keep Moving Forward,
